Infrastructure

  • $1 million to design the Bank Street Canal bridge over the Rideau Canal
  • $19 million for integrated road, sewer and water work on Bank Street between Riverside Drive and Ledbury Avenue
  • $1.3 million for integrated road, sewer and water work on Ella Street between Gordon and Craig streets, and on Ralph Street between Fifth and Holmwood avenues
  • $30 million for integrated road, sewer and water work on Main Street, Greenfield Avenue, Echo Drive and Concord Street
  • $2.3 million to build integrated road, sewer and water work on Riverside Drive between Industrial Avenue and the Transitway
  • $1 million to design integrated road, sewer and water work on Bronson Avenue from Arlington Avenue to the Rideau Canal
  • $500,000 to rehabilitate the Confederation Heights Bridge north of Walkley Road
  • $20,000 to replace streetlight poles on Dow's Lake Road and Kippewa Drive
  • $1.1 million to renew roads, including:
    • $380,000 on Frobisher Lane
    • $320,000 on Lees Avenue from Chestnut Street to west of the transitway overpass
    • $380,000 on Lycée Place

  • $50,000 for temporary traffic calming measures
  • $171,000 to design and build sidewalks on Cecil Avenue

Transit

  • $165,000 to resurface Carling Avenue bus lanes between Preston Street and Bronson Avenue

Parks and Facilities

  • $390,000 in buildings and parks renewal, including $110,000 to repave the parking lot and laneway at the Dr. Ernest Couture Child Care Centre
  • $1.2 million to build the Greystone Village forecourt
  • $520,000 to build the Greystone Village Grand Allée
  • $8,000 for a play structure at Hopewell Public School
  • $1.8 million to replace the fieldhouse at Heron Park

  • $2.8 million to rehabilitate the Bank Street Canal Bridge
  • $3.2 million to design integrated road, sewer and water work on Bank Street
  • $5 million for integrated road, sewer and water work on Greenfield Avenue, Main Street and Hawthorne Avenue
  • $8.5 million for integrated road, sewer and water work on Fairbairn Street, Bellwood Avenue, Willard Street and Belmont Avenue
  • $1 million to design integrated road, sewer and water work on Grove and Grosvenor avenues

Transportation

  • Install a pedestrian crossover on Fourth Avenue between Lyon and Percy streets
  • Install a red-light camera on Bank Street at Riverside Drive North
  • Improve cycling safety on Smyth Road at the Ottawa Hospital Riverside Campus
  • Add traffic calming measures near Mutchmor Public School and Corpus Christi Elementary School on Fourth Avenue
  • Conduct detailed design for cycling facilities on the Bank Street Canal Bridge
  • Build a pedestrian and cycling bridge across the Rideau River at Carleton University as part of Stage 2 LRT

Transit

  • Continue building Stage 2 LRT, extending service east by 12 kilometres and five stations, west by 15 kilometres and 11 stations, and south by 12 kilometres and eight stations with a link to the Ottawa International Airport
  • $1.7 million to rehabilitate the Walkley Road O-Train Bridge

Environment

  • $280,000 to improve drainage at Cobalt and Clemow avenues

Parks and Facilities

  • $290,000 to replace the junior play structure at Springhurst Park
  • $360,000 to replace the splash pad at Kaladar Park
  • $99,000 to build Firehall Park
  • $8,000 for a new play structure at Hopewell Public School
  • $140,000 for lighting at Central Park East Glebe
  • $5,000 for bike racks at Brewer Park

Housing

  • $8 million for John Howard Society to build a 40-unit supportive housing development at 289 Carling Avenue
  • $9,000 through the Ontario Renovates program to repair and modify homes to support independent living for low-income seniors and people with disabilities

  • $340,000 to renew two South East Transitway culverts near Heron Road

  • $2.7 million to rehabilitate the Riverside Drive O-Train Bridge
