2020 Capital Ward Cup
The 12th annual Capital Ward hockey tournament will be happening on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm this year at Mutchmor Rink in the Glebe. Old Ottawa South Moose, Old Ottawa East Hosers, Heron Park Hackers and Glebe Goal-Getters will face-off on the ice!
The Capital Ward Cup is a friendly game that will be bringing together teams from four neighborhoods in our ward. Everyone is welcome to come watch the face-off between these neighbourhoods. Anyone who would like to play, 16 years or older, are welcome to contact [email protected] and we will let your community’s team captain know. We encourage women to sign up! The game will have two women and two men on the ice at all times to encourage the gender-balanced bench policy.
At the conclusion of the tournament, GNAG will be hosting a community party from 4:30-7:30 pm to celebrate the return of the rink at Mutchmor. There will be a DJ and a skating party for all ages followed by a BBQ. All are welcome!
